Allusion: is something that will happen but don’t say it

Plot: events in a story, central ideas

Theme: what the message is

Diction: the choice of words author uses

Syntax: how the author puts them

Indirect characterization: how the character is in a story

Static/ dynamic characters : static is when characters stay the same the entire time & dynamic is when the characters change throughout

Symbolism: a things that represents something

Synecdoche: expression ?
